UX Designer

- Design, coordinate delivery and facilitate stakeholder alignment across a three-designer team.
I’m Francesco, a UX/UI and digital product designer driven by curiosity, technology, and the desire to make things that genuinely help people. I believe good design is rooted in a deep understanding of the problem, far away from personal taste.
I’ve studied Digital Communication Design at IAAD University, where I've fell in love with UX Design and its ability to improve people's lives, even with the (apparently) smallest features.
I’ve spent five years at Arduino — now part of Qualcomm — going from intern to the reference designer of Arduino Cloud, designing across desktop, mobile and the tools that sit next to the hardware. It taught me that innovation lives in the balance between what new technology makes possible and what people actually need, and that technology, used thoughtfully, can make complex things feel simple. Lately that has meant putting AI to work in the process itself: prototypes built in hours with AI tools meant that decisions get tested instead of debated.
Alongside my operative work, I spent a year on the other side of the desk as a UI teaching assistant at Boolean, reviewing student work, building lessons and running critiques, and found I enjoy helping other designers grow as much as designing.
My approach is built on rigour and intentionality, shaped by the discipline of Taekwon-Do and by the attention to detail and sensitivity I developed studying piano. I’m constantly looking to learn, hear, see or taste something new — and to use it to build something meaningful.
